Bosch establishes 55m euro automobile power line plant in Long Thanh Industrial Zone
The German firm Bosch has set up a 100% foreign owned branch in Vietnam and also broke ground for the high tech automobile power line manufacturing plant with a total estimated cost of 55 million euro in Long Thanh Industrial Zone of Dong Nai southern province.
Headquartered in Stuttgart, Bosch is the world’s leading auto service and industrial technology provider. Bosch now has about 271,000 staff working in over 300 branches and companies across 50 nations. In 2007, the company posted revenue of 46.3 billion euro.
Each year the firm spends more than 3 billion euro on studying and developing over 3,300 design copyrights whereby Bosch can draw up long-term investment plans to ensure its future growth.
Present in Viet Nam since 1994 through two rep offices in HCM City and Hanoi, Bosch was licensed to set up Robert Borsch Ltd Co here in December 2007. The high tech automobile power line manufacturing plant in Dong Nai has an area of 160,000 square metres, specialising in manufacturing automatic gearboxes for many kinds of transport vehicles.
