Da Nang welcomes 1,600 sea visitors in two days
More than 1,600 foreign visitors aboard Azamara Quets, Costa Allegra and Sea Bonr Spirit cruise liners visited to the central city of Da Nang on January 26-27, the first two days of the traditional New Year (Tet).
This is a good sign for the city’s tourism sector as it predicts a 28% year-on-year decrease in the number of foreign tourists by sea this year due to the global economic crisis.
From the beginning of the year, Da Nang welcomed seven cruise liners with over 5,000 visitors on board. (VNA)
