VNBusinessNews – A governmental delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai paid a working visit to Thanh Hoa Province to discuss with local officials ways to speed up the implementation of projects in the Nghi Son Economic Zone, Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province.
So far, as many as 23 projects with a total registered capital of US $8.3 billion have been either become operational, or are in the process of being realized in the economic zone, according to the zone’s management board.
However, the project to build the Nghi Son Petro-Chemical and Thermo-Power Complex, the largest investment project in the zone is still in low gear.
As currently the planned, the industrial complex will be built on an area of nearly 1,400 ha, but so far only half of that area has been handed over to the investor.
