VNBusinessNews - A group of 88 entrepreneurs, representing 63 Japanese companies, are to visit Viet Nam from March 1–6 to explore investment and business opportunities in the country.
The visit, jointly organised by the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) and the Kansai Economic Federation (Kankeiren), will attract businesses involved in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, mechanical engineering, trade, consultancy and information technology.
During their visit, the delegation is scheduled to tour the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park as well as other industrial parks in Ha Noi, HCM City and the southern province of Binh Duong.
The mission will also participate in the third Viet Nam-Japan Economic Forum, co-hosted by JETRO, Kankeiren and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
JETRO Chairman Yasuo Hayashi described the visit as reflecting Japanese companies’ view of Viet Nam as a lucrative investment destination.
Yasuo said he believed that, in spite of the current difficulties, the flow of Japanese investment into Viet Nam would increase in the years to come if the country’s investment environment continued to improve. (VNS)
