VNBusinessNews - The construction of a resettlement area for national key projects in the Vung Ang Economic Zone commenced in Ky Lien commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province on February 26.

61 projects are currently carried out with a total investment capital of VND 173 trillion in the Vung Ang Economic Zone. To meet requirements of site clearance and resettlement for 3,029 affected households in Ky Loi, Ky Phuong, Ky Thinh, Ky Long, Ky Lien communes, Ha Tinh province has planned and designed the construction of five resettlement areas with an area of around 100 – 120 hectares for each.

Each household which has to be relocated are provided with 400 square metres of housing land and an certain area of production land area.

The Xuan Thanh Development and Investment Joint Stock Company as a contractor of the five resettlement areas has invested VND 200 billion to build the first resettlement area with an area of 100 hectares in Ky Lien commune.
