Vietnam Airlines puts commercial website into use for trial purposes
The website, www.vietnamairlines.com, offers an online booking service for the first time. After their bookings are accepted, passengers will currently then have to pay at the airline’s ticket offices, as the website is not able to accept online payment yet.
In addition, flight information will be updated during the day on the website.
Online payment services will be soon available for credit cards, such as Visa, Master, Amex, JCB, and Dinners’ Club.
The website will offer other services starting in June, 2009, including ticket booking, fare information and flight changes.
