Vietnamese customers can buy online goods from Ebay

VNBusinessNews – Chodientu and eBay have launched an e-commerce website which allows Vietnamese to order goods online from markets that previously didn’t accept orders from Viet Nam.

Many traders on eBay often refuse to sell goods to Viet Nam and markets where there are high rates of online crime. The PayPal international payment service doesn’t accept addresses from Viet Nam. Vietnamese customers have to ask overseas friends to buy goods and bring them to Viet Nam.

The new website of chodientu and eBay will automatically connect to eBay’s database to allow Vietnamese customers to select and order commodities. They will have to pay in advance in Viet Nam to chodientu (official price of the product, fees equivalent to 15% of the price to chodientu, besides customs fees and import tax).

Chodientu will connect to eBay and PayPal for payment services, receive the goods and transfer them to the buyers.

The final prices of products can be calculated on the website. For example, a MacBook Air laptop is priced $1,275, but the final price after being shipped to Viet Nam is $1,667. Delivery time is between 1-2 weeks. (VNE)
