Vinaphone to launch fixed price international call package
Mobile phone service provider Vinaphone said it will soon launch a new package allowing users to make phone calls to 23 countries across the world in unlimited time at a fixed fee of only 299,000 VND (17 USD) per month.
At a press briefing in Hanoi on Jan. 16, Vinaphone general director Lam Hoang Vinh said this year the company will focus on value-added services and offer packages specially designed to meet the need of different groups of customers.
On the day, the company unveiled a new package targeting low-income earners and students along with a promotional programme which cuts intra-region call charges by 43 percent.
Vinaphone now boast 16 million subscribers, including 7.5 million new users in 2008 alone.
