Vietnam entrepreneurs target peru’s aviation market – andina

Honolulu, Nov. 11 (ANDINA). A group of Vietnamese entrepreneurs is looking to enter Peru’s aviation market by operating an airline which could fly among the different regions of the country, Peru’s Trade and Tourism Minister Jose Luis Silva said.

Silva noted Thursday that the previous day he had met in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, with two groups of Vietnamese businessmen attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council (ABAC) meetings.

“One of these business groups is made up by a low-cost airline and when we talked about costs and tariffs in Peru, they seemed to be really interested,” the minister said in statements to Andina.

Furthermore, Silva pointed out that the Vietnamese entrepreneurs disclosed they would ask Peruvian authorities the characteristics of the commercial aviation market in order to decide whether or not to invest.

Meanwhile, with the other business group – belonging to the hotel sector – he discussed about business opportunities in this nation.
